I became a Realtor in 2004.  Immediately I began researching websites, knowing that the internet was the future of the real estate industry.  Recently, the NAR (Nation Association of Realtors) put out a report claiming that over 80% of all home buyers used the internet to start their home searches!  In an effort to successfully market myself over the internet I signed on with 6 different real estate website companies and spent thousands of dollars in internet marketing!  Disappointed in my findings I started studying the commonalities of the success websites across the U.S.  Quickly, I realized the importance of Search Engine Optimization which I studied fervently, reading books, blogs and internet articles.  I began to see a connection between CSS and search engines.  I was surprised to find that none of the research I was doing pointed to the use of this relatively new technology (CSS). 

I started experimenting with my site and a few family members sites with great success.  It quickly became apparent to me that most of these real estate website companies where missing the entire SEO advantage.  They were much more concerned with a turn key, cookie cutter type system, which is great for the agent (well seemingly, anyway) but a nightmare for a search engine!  I slowly made the transition from Realtor to real estate website expert.  Soon after my success in real estate websites, I realized that applying the same technology I had been using in this extremely competitive field, quickly dominated other industries!  I then began studying complete website development systems including languages such as HTML, PHP and CSS through online training and a multitude of books.  SEO Web Concepts is now a full service custom website company with SEO as a top priority and lead to traffic ratio as a close second!
